And then there were four.

The NCAA basketball tourney has been full of surprises thus far, with two No. 1 seeds (Kansas and Villanova), No. 3 seed Michigan, and No. 11 seed (and this year’s Cinderella fan-favorite) Loyola-Chicago making it all the way to the final weekend.

NCAA Basketball CourtVITAC has been providing captions for all the NCAA tournament coverage on the Turner family of networks as well as live streaming games. Our talented professionals will have captioned more than 200 games once this year’s champion is crowned, including games on TBS (21), truTV (20), TNT (15) and iStreamPlanet (146). From the opening tip-off earlier this month to the cutting down of the nets next Monday night, VITAC will have provided more than 515 hours of captioned hard wood content overall.

The tourney’s Final Four games take place Saturday (March 31) on TBS as the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers take on the Michigan Wolverines shortly after 6 PM EST, and the Villanova Wildcats hit the court against the Kansas Jayhawks at 9:20 PM EST. The winners will advance to Monday night’s National Championship on TBS.

The tournament’s first-round action averaged 8.6 million viewers; the Sweet 16 games averaged a combined 10.5 million viewers; and the Elite Eight games averaged 10.7 million in total viewership.
