Bob Beyer
General Manager, Washington D.C., Office
Bob Beyer, who has been involved in captioning since 1985, joined VITAC in 1990 to develop and manage offline captioning at our Pittsburgh site. In 1992, he opened our Washington, D.C. office, serving as Operations Manager, and now serves as general manager in Washington, DC. Bob oversees captioners and client services in our DC office, maintains close relationships with local postproduction facilities, and contributes to new technology development, government outreach, and local marketing initiatives. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland.
Bob loves to drink coffee, read, and discuss anything from string theory to politics, when he’s not chauffeuring his boys to sports, orchestra and scouts.
